On Shavuot, we celebrate the end of the Omer and the giving of the Ten Commandments with Torah study and prayer. This year we’ll be celebrating Shavuot virtually over Zoom!

Our celebration will begin on Thursday, May 28th at 7:30 pm with erev Shavuot services, followed by a study session. There will then be services on Friday, May 29th at 9:30 am, and Saturday, May 30th at 9:30 am. Saturday’s service will also include Yizkor.

Here is a lovely Shavuot learning kit developed and shared by Sharona Shapiro, a friend of CoM and occasional visitor. It contains study questions, photos, poetry, recipes and more. Check it out here.
