Last updated: February 6, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Congregation of Moses website located at https://congregationofmoses.org and any content, forms, or services made available through it (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other accounts, or computer systems; interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or performance of the Site; or use the Site to transmit any harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the Site in a way that could harm us or others.

2. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, all content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and design, is owned by or licensed to Congregation of Moses and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print content from the Site for your personal, non‑commercial use in connection with our ministries and programs. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Site’s content without our prior written permission.

3. User submissions
If you submit information, prayer requests, comments, or other content through the Site, you are responsible for the content you provide. You agree that you will not submit anything that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or invasive of another person’s privacy. By submitting content, you grant Congregation of Moses a non‑exclusive right to use that content in connection with our ministries and communications, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

4. Donations, payments, and event registrations
Donations, dues, fees, and event registrations made through the Site are processed by third‑party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. All transactions are subject to confirmation and may be refused or reversed in the event of suspected error, fraud, or misuse. If you have questions about a donation or registration, please contact the synagogue office.

5. Links to other websites
The Site may contain links to third‑party websites that are not controlled by Congregation of Moses. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement. You access third‑party sites at your own risk.

6. Text messaging program terms
When you provide your mobile number and opt in to receive text messages from us, you are enrolling in one or more Congregation of Moses text messaging programs. These may include one‑time or time‑limited event reminders, updates, and schedule changes, and recurring notifications for ongoing programs (for example, Shabbat or holiday service reminders), where you separately opt in. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency will vary depending on the specific program or events you select. Standard message and data rates may apply. Participation is not required to attend events or receive services. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying **STOP** to any message from us. After you send **STOP**, we may send a confirmation text to acknowledge your opt‑out, and you will not receive further messages from that program unless you opt in again. For help, reply **HELP** or contact the synagogue office. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our collection and use of your mobile number and other personal information in connection with text messaging are described in our Privacy Policy.

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Congregation of Moses disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. 8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Congregation of Moses, its clergy, staff, volunteers, and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed the amount, if any, that you paid to us to use the Site during the twelve‑month period preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
