Mitzvah Day is Sunday, October 14.

Join the Congregation of Moses Jewish community for the first Mitzvah Day on Sunday, October 14. Both indoor and outdoor work sites have been arranged for teens and adults. Approximately two hours will be spent at each local site as a group, with lunch provided afterward.

  • The morning's agenda is as follows:
  • 8:45 - 9:15AM  Coffee and snacks at CoM, get team assignments
  • 9:15 - 9:45AM  Travel to work sites
  • 9:45 - 11:45AM  Volunteer
  • 11:45AM - 12:15PM  Return to the Congregation
  • 12:15 - 1:00 PM  Have lunch and share your experiences
Mitzvah Day Kids Projects Our Congregation of Moses High Schoolers will be joining Beth Grode at Ministry with Community, leading Bingo games.

Younger students will be at the Congregation, making fall-themed placemats for Meals on Wheels recipients.
Mitzvah Day Adult Projects We have three locations for interested adult or teen volunteers on Mitzvah Day. Please sign up for the project that most aligns with your interests and abilities. All tools/supplies will be provided by the nonprofits we are working with, although you are welcome to bring your own work gloves or tools if you prefer. Please dress comfortably.

T-shirts will be handed out that morning.
